Traffic Safety in Highdown Drive

On 10th September 2008, Councillor Dave Botting borrowed a 'Speed Indicating Device' or SID to highlight the speeding traffic around Wick. Dave said;-

"There is no excuse for people to speed in residential areas but quite often people are unaware of their speed. Although the SID doesn't lead to legal sanctions for speeding drivers, when motorists see how much they are speeding they will often slow down"

North Littlehampton Plans

Cllr. Dave Botting has been very instrumental in bringing together the landowners and Wick and Toddington residents to discuss the future of North Littlehampton, Dave said;-

"We have to make sure that whatever happens, the people of Littlehampton get the best deal going. We have been conned before, when other housing estates were planned, we were promised health centres, Schools, parks and roads but all we got were badly planned housing estates, I'm determined to make sure that Littlehampton gets the best deal this time"
