He has lived in Bognor Regis all his life and was educated at local schools. He has worked in he local construction industry for the past 21 years and is married with two children Locally Simon has been a long term opponent of policy site 6.a controversial Greenfield development proposal next to a local floodplain. He has successfully led the local campaign for the past nine years leading to the High Court action against Arun District Council. He will be trying to meet as many of you as possible over the next few years as he takes to the streets to speak to local residents. Simon says "Our community has been let down by the two main parties at both local and national level for far too long. Our community faces diverse challenges in the years to come. We need to balance retaining our younger generation and regenerating the area while ensuring that important social service support is there for the elderly population of our area". The Liberal Democrats are the real alternative in this area and across the country and are the only party you can trust to take head-on the climate change issue which is the biggest challenge facing the world today.
