Labour vote collapses as Conservatives announce a Rustington candidate.

Recent canvassing by Liberal Democrat activists working for popular River ward councillor and county council candidate Ian Buckland have announced that it is going to be a straight fight between him and the Rustington-based Conservative candidate.

Speaking recently,Ian Buckland said;- "It is understandable how the Labour vote has collapsed given the national situation, but many former Labour voters have phoned, text'd and emailed with offers of support for me. If elected, I will proudly represent this town at county hall, and shout out loud for it's residents"

Mark Foster, long time Littlehampton Liberal activist and Ian's election agent commented;- "I have been involved in elections for some seventeen years, and never seen Labour so unpopular, I just hope that Ian can convince the electorate elect him and not someone who lives outside the town."
