In Littlehampton - vote for a Liberal Democrat town council!

10.15.50am BST (GMT +0100) Sun 29th Apr 2007

The choice for the residents of Littlehampton this year is very clear, Tony Blair's Labour council or a new, fresh Liberal Democrat town council.

Labour have run the town council for the past twelve years, bowing down unquestioningly to every New Labour initiative, raising the town council's share of the unfair council tax and allowing the hospital to be bulldozed.

A Liberal Democrat town council will really stand up for our town and tell the government they must do better, we will question unnecessary bureaucracy, campaign against the council tax and fight for our new hospital, we want to foster a new community spirit.

The Conservatives in Littlehampton have been lacklustre, at the last town council elections, they only put up TWO candidates, it is obvious that they don't care for Littlehampton.

Littlehampton has only ONE Conservative town councillor.

Regeneration under Tory controlled Arun has become a euphemism for building weekend apartments for rich Londoners. The Conservatives complain about the council tax, BUT THEY INVENTED IT! and they are not even campaigning for it's abolition.

Four of our five town councillors are up for re-election; Dave Leggatt, David Jones, Nick Wiltshire and James Walsh, please also use all your votes to support the other excellent Liberal Democrat candidates, Dave Botting, Ian Buckland, Anchorette Blackstone, Trevor Richards, Irene Richards, Margaret Boulton and Mark Foster.

Vote for the Winning team!

The Liberal Democrats CAN WIN on the 3rd May, if you need a lift to the polls or have any questions, have not received our election leaflet, or want to register your support;- phone 726470.
