HOW MANY CABINET MEMBERS TO CHANGE A LIGHT BULB?

County Councillor Dr James Walsh recently challenged the West Sussex Cabinet Member for the Environment to ensure that all old energy inefficient tungsten light bulbs in schools, offices and care homes were replaced by energy efficient bulbs. "This would save taxpayers thousands of pounds, as well as cutting West Sussex carbon emissions, and give a lead to local people. It would truly be a win, win, win situation" said Dr Walsh. However , according to the Tory cabinet member, the time was not yet right for this simple step! "Another example of 'do what I say, not what I do from our timid, cautious county council" says Dr Walsh
