Brookfield

The candidates this time are husband and wife team Trevor and Irene Richards, lifelong Liberals and hardworking community campaigners. Mark Foster, the former town councillor for the area is also standing, in an election where Labour are expected to do very badly. Brookfield has many problems, including parking and lack of community facilities.

Wick with Toddington

The three Liberal Democrat candidates for Wick with Toddington this year are all called David;- Botting, Jones and Leggatt.

Dave Leggatt and David Jones have been town councillors for the past four years. At the last local elections, David Jones was 17 votes short of winning a place on Arun District Council. Dave Botting has run a town centre shop for the past 30 years.

Beach

Dr. James Walsh has had the honour of representing Beach ward for the past 32 years. He has been the only Liberal in councils on many occasions, and hopes to be returned to the councils in May.

Nick Wiltshire has been your town councillor for the past four years and hopes to take a place on Arun District this year, through the retirement of the current Liberal Democrat district councillor.

Margaret Boulton is a former mayor of Marlborough in Wiltshire. A lifelong Liberal, she had moved to Littlehampton to retire but felt compelled to get involved in community affairs because she cannot believe how Littlehampton has been taken for granted.

Ian Buckland is 41 and is married with 3 children and lives in Littlehampton, over the last two years he has worked tirelessly to get his eldest son into a special educational needs school with which he has been successful, in response to this Ian decided to volunteer to become a parent governor at one of the local schools to repay some of the help and support that his family received from them. Since becoming a parent governor he has undertaken many courses and is currently studying for his BTEC IN ADVANCED GOVERNANCE.

Anchorette is 26, lives with her husband in Littlehampton and works in the town.
