Liberal Democrats in Littlehampton have demanded that County Hall chiefs fix our roads rather than put up signs warning motorists about our broken roads. Mark Foster speaking at last weeks branch meeting said;-
"The County Council are trying to fix the roads with 'cold patching' which doesn't last very long, the 'fixed' roads will soon be broken again and the signs will have to go back up. Some of Littlehampton's residential roads have not been resurfaced for forty or fifty years and patching is only a temporary solution"
The Littlehampton Liberal Democrats have been calling on County Hall chiefs to do something about the state of the town's roads since it was founded in 1993.
