People power to save our Hospital

Residents of Littlehampton will take to the streets on Thursday 20th September to demonstrate their anger at the PCT on proposed cuts to Worthing Hospital and the fact no decision has been taken to re-build Littlehampton Hospital. The march will end up at the Windmill theatre where a meeting is planned by the PCT to consult residents on the future of health services in West Sussex.
Cllr Nick Wiltshire and Cllr Simon McDougall who have organised the march said "The PCT have only room for 300 people at this meeting, clearly this is an emotive subject and many more people will want to have their say on such proposals, so we have organised this march so that people who can't get into the meeting will at least be able to show their support for the campaign against any closure by taking part in the march".
Littlehampton, is one of the largest towns in West Sussex, It is vital that A&E services are kept at Worthing and the community hospital is re-built in Littlehampton.
The March will start from the Littlehampton Town Council offices at Church Street and will gather at 6pm for marching at 6.15pm.
